Our Vision, Mission & Philosophy
Our Vision
A world where everyone can experience the benefits of movement, activity and trampoline exercise — regardless of ability or disability.

We envision a world where every school supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) has access to Rebound Therapy, enabling them to experience its physical, cognitive, emotional, social and therapeutic benefits.

A world where healthcare professionals, therapists and practitioners supporting people with disabilities understand the potential of Rebound Therapy and have access to the training they need to use it confidently and effectively, where appropriate.

And a world where every trampoline coach is equipped to coach every person.
Every coach should have the knowledge, understanding, skills and confidence to welcome and teach people of all abilities — including people with learning needs, physical disabilities, other additional needs and potential disadvantages.

Our ambition is for Rebound Therapy training to become an essential part of the professional development of trampoline coaches worldwide, helping to make genuinely inclusive coaching the norm rather than the exception.

We are working towards a world where no one is excluded from the benefits, enjoyment and opportunities of trampoline activity due to others not having access to the knowledge, skills or confidence to include them.

We envision inclusive trampoline activity being accessible to everyone, everywhere.

We envision Rebound Therapy being the global standard for inclusive trampoline practice.

And we envision a worldwide community of trained professionals, coaches, schools, therapists and advocates united by a shared belief:

Every person deserves the opportunity to discover what they are capable of.
Our Mission
To make inclusive trampoline activity accessible to everyone, everywhere.
Our mission is to champion the inclusion of people of all abilities in trampoline activity and to make Rebound Therapy accessible to all who can benefit from it.

We do this by developing and delivering high-quality training, education, resources and support for the people and organisations who make inclusive participation possible. This includes recognising the wide range of potential reasons a person may experience barriers to inclusion (including but not limited to disability, additional needs, confidence, exercise tolerance, cultural and socio-economic reasons).

We work with schools, teachers, therapists, healthcare professionals, trampoline coaches, clubs and organisations to build the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to provide safe, effective and meaningful trampoline experiences for all.

We are committed to continually developing Rebound Therapy through education, professional collaboration, research, innovation and best practice, ensuring that our approach evolves alongside emerging knowledge, evidence and best practice.

We aim to create a global network of trained and supported professionals and coaches who share our commitment to inclusion and who can champion opportunities for all people.

Above all, our mission is to remove barriers to participation and create opportunities where they may not previously have existed, and to support those who wish to offer these opportunities.
Our Philosophy
We believe that every person deserves the opportunity to discover what they are capable of.
We believe that a person's potential should never be defined by disability or disadvantage, and that everyone should be given the opportunity to participate, develop, achieve and experience the joy of movement.

We believe that inclusion begins with possibility rather than limitation.

Instead of asking:
“Can this person take part?”
we ask:
“What do we need to do to make it possible?”
That question lies at the heart of everything we do.

We believe that with the right knowledge, understanding, support and approach, barriers can be overcome and opportunities can be created for people of all abilities (while recognising the importance of educating practitioners about the small number of medical exclusions necessary for safety.)

We therefore seek to equip and empower the people who make inclusion possible — giving teachers, therapists, healthcare professionals, trampoline coaches and organisations the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide safe, effective and meaningful opportunities for participation.

We believe in continual learning, collaboration and improvement. We listen, we learn from experience, we share knowledge and we continually seek better ways to support the people we serve.

We believe that inclusion is not simply about allowing someone to take part. It is about creating an environment in which they are welcomed, valued, supported and given the opportunity to achieve their potential.

And we believe that the benefits of trampoline activity extend far beyond the trampoline itself.
They can help people develop movement, confidence, independence, communication, social connection, physical wellbeing and a sense of achievement — while, above all, experiencing the enjoyment of taking part.

We don't focus on what someone cannot do.

We focus on what they might be able to achieve — and what we can do to help make it possible.

That is the philosophy that guides Rebound Therapy.
