Rebound Therapy is a highly valued intervention within our setting, contributing meaningfully to the holistic development of students with a range of complex needs. It supports physical progress, enhances emotional wellbeing, and provides enriching learning experiences that are recognised across the school community.

Brilliant course, very useful and well taught

Rebound Therapy has a notable impact on sensory regulation. Many students present with sensory processing differences, and the rhythmic movement experienced during sessions can have a calming and organising effect. This often results in improved attention, reduced anxiety, and increased readiness to engage in learning activities following sessions.

Rebound Therapy has a significant and positive impact on the students who access the provision within our setting. It provides a structured yet enjoyable therapeutic environment that supports a wide range of physical, sensory, emotional, and social development needs.
Students who participate regularly in Rebound Therapy demonstrate improvements in balance, coordination, postural control, and core strength. The controlled movement provided by the trampoline allows students with complex physical needs to experience freedom of movement in a safe and supported manner, often achieving mobility experiences that may not be possible in other contexts.

Rebound Therapy contributes to increased confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of achievement. Students are able to experience success in a highly individualised way. This recognition plays an important role in reinforcing positive self-worth and motivation.
