Rebound Plus Course

The Rebound Plus course supports the delivery of structured trampoline activities for more physically able individuals of all ages, across a wide range of additional needs and/or disabilities. The course is also suitable for teaching mainstream beginners, particularly those ready to progress beyond Winstrada Trampoline Grade 3.

 

The Rebound Plus practical training course comprises two consecutive days. Some course reading material is supplied prior to the course.

 

If you would like to arrange an in-house course (where our tutor visits your venue to run the training), with one trampoline available we can train up to 9 staff.

With two or more trampolines available in the same room, we can train a group of up to 12 candidates.

 

This course runs with slightly smaller group sizes than the Rebound Therapy course, as candidates need sufficient time to learn and practise teaching the more complex exercises within Winstrada Trampoline Grades 4 to 8.

 

An option that some venues choose, if they do not have 9 staff to train, is to book an in-house course and sell places to other schools and centres in order to contribute towards the costs. We can help with this by advertising places in our newsletter and listing the course as an open course on our website. Available spaces are also promoted via social media.

 

Candidates will gain the techniques and skills needed to deliver Rebound Plus lessons and activities, and to adapt teaching to a student’s own pace for ambulant learners with a variety of sensory, behavioural, communication, and other needs. Verbal communication is not assumed, and the logical teaching methods taught also suit and appeal to mainstream students of all ages.

 

All practical aspects of the course are filmed, and each candidate will receive a copy of their video after the course.
