The principles of Rebound Therapy form the basis of all gymnastic movement,
and the Rebound Therapy training course teaches logical progressions of movement patterns designed to encourage the student to continually develop whilst at the same time experiencing healthy exercise and enjoyment.
For these reasons, the Rebound Therapy training course is widely accepted as the logical starting point for trampoline coach training - even for those who do not intend to work with disabilities.

The refresher workshop course material will include a copy of the new Huddersfield Functional Index, which is a manual for accurately measuring and recording outcomes in Rebound Therapy sessions.

The "Into Mainstream" course is a two-day add-on module for those who have already completed a genuine Level 2 Rebound Therapy training course.
It is designed to equip candidates to help their more able students progress beyond Rebound Therapy and start the transition into mainstream trampolining exercises.
The course covers grades 4 to 8 of the Winstrada development scheme and is therefore also suitable for mainstream beginners.
The course is run in-house for schools and centres and as an open course in the same way as our Rebound Therapy courses.

This is intended for those want to progress their trampoline teaching / coaching skills further.
The workshop will comprise one full day and will cover grades 9 and 10 of the Winstrada trampoline development scheme.
Pre-requisites for this workshop:
The candidate must have completed the Rebound Therapy course and completed the 'Into-Mainstream' add-on module with validation to grade 8.
This workshop will be outsourced. We are currently in talks with several mainstream trampoline course providers and will provide more information shortly.
This course is designed to equip and validate a senior member of staff to oversee all future basic Rebound Therapy staff training within their specified school or centre. (This is the level 3 qualification.)
It will enable the course member to train staff within their specified school or centre to lead basic Rebound Therapy sessions within that same specified school or centre. (The level 1 qualification.)
The course is open to those who have already successfully completed the standard 'level 2' staff training course as detailed on this website and are experienced in running and leading Rebound Therapy sessions.

This is a half day workshop held at your school or centre and will cover everything necessary to equip you to host special needs trampoline participation and celebration events and SEN trampoline competitions.
There will be practical demonstrations of all exercises and routines, and the scoring and judging points will be explained and practiced.
